Santo Domingo City Tour

A tour of one of the oldest capitals in the Caribbean

Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic and one of the Caribbean’s oldest cities. Its walled, cobblestoned historic core, the Zona Colonial, has buildings that date to the 1500s, including the cathedral, which was the first built in the New World. We invite you to learn about its history, visiting its Colonial Monuments, which are among the most important in America and the World.

Our tour begins by visiting »The Three Eyes», a combination of Caverns and Lakes, which have a high content of Sulfur, and an unspeakable  beauty.

We will then continue to the Colonial Zone, where the most important and imposing buildings of the Colonization period are located: Visiting the Alcázar de Colon, the National Pantheon and the First Cathedral of the Americas.

There will be free time in Conde Peatonal and Calle Las Damas to walk and/or buy a souvenir, since there is a great variety of typical handicrafts, and other products such as Mamajuana, Rum, Tobacco, and then arrive at the Restaurant and taste a delicious Dominican Lunch: Rice with Stewed Beans, Stewed or Fried Meat, Fish, Vegetables, Mixed Salad, Pasta, Fruits, etc.
