Our journey began in 2019 when a group of friends and colleagues from the tourism industry in the beautiful Punta Cana area came together to discuss the potential for excursions in the region. Focusing on tourists’ preferences in areas such as Bávaro, Punta Cana, and Bayahibe, we carefully analyzed what types of experiences were most appealing, beyond the typical all-inclusive resort offerings.

Through our analysis, we concluded that the excursion options were quite limited. We saw a unique opportunity to embark on a new venture that would not only meet tourists’ demands but also enrich their experiences in the area. Thus, Punta Tortuga Excursions was born, with the mission of providing much more than just standard tourist activities.
